I started making jewelry about 5 years ago per my mom’s suggestion. I’ve always been drawn to the arts, but jewelry design is where I’ve really found my niche (thanks, Mom!). For the first few years I would just carry my supplies around in a plastic container and bead all around the house. For the next few years I worked mainly from a table in our breakfast nook which was less than ideal. Finally, a few months ago I converted a spare room upstairs into my very own jewelry design studio.
Now, “Why the title ‘The Possible Dream?'” you ask…
Well, a while back on the TV show Picker Sisters, they turned an old sign that read “The Possible Dream” into an amazing headboard. The way they described what the sign meant to them really resonated with me. It has been my dream for a while now to share my jewelry creations with the world, and little by little that dream is coming true. Please enjoy these photos of my new jewelry studio (along with one of the Picker Sisters’ headboard) and if you like my style, be sure to check out my etsy shop StrandedInTheCity.
